ANITA'S STORY

Anita Reynolds is a Meath-based artist who works with ceramics and textiles to create unique pieces for the home and garden. From her studio nestled in the heart of the Boyne Valley, Anita draws inspiration from the natural world around her.

Combining her deep love of nature and unique artistic style, Anita’s work explores the beauty of the meadows, bogs, and woodlands of the Irish countryside. Her one-of-a-kind ceramic and textile creations exhibit the vivid colours and textures found in nature, with a particular emphasis on native Irish species.

As well as depicting natural landscapes and wildlife, Anita’s art celebrates Irish heritage. Her textile works bring to life the historical sites and monuments of Ireland’s Ancient East.

Anita’s artistic style is truly her own, bringing together her personal creative vision and broad technical skillset. Her innovative approach to textile art combines batik, embroidery, and hand quilting to produce landscapes and scenes that are almost sculptural. Their vibrant colours and tactile shapes reflect the energy and dynamism of the natural world.

Each and every piece is 100% unique, crafted by hand and based on Anita’s artistic perspective of her surroundings.

Sustainability

Nature is at the heart of what Anita does. That’s why she is always looking for new ways to offset carbon emissions and give back to the natural environment that brings her so much inspiration. Her efforts to be more sustainable include sourcing environmentally friendly packaging materials, switching to renewable energy sources, and planting native Irish trees. By supporting her art, you are also supporting her mission to give back to the environment and become more sustainable.

Commissions

Anita’s ceramic and textile works make beautiful bespoke gifts for all occasions. Whether it’s a wedding, birthday, or memorial, she will work closely with you to make something special and personal.
