Irish Heritage Range
The Yellow Steeple is the remains of a 14th century bell tower. It was part of the Augustinian Abbey in Trim at the time. In the setting sun the tower reflects a beautiful warm yellow glow. The tower dominates the skyline at 40m and was thought to have been the highest building in Ireland in the Later Medieval Period.
Each piece is made on cotton that is printed with my design and then stitched by machine and by hand. A layer of wadding is added to create a relief effect after stitching.
