Small ceramic decoration with ribbon attached. Each one is hand modelled by myself. Then a mould is created to allow me to repeat the design. They are fired twice and glazed individually by hand. 
 
Tara was the seat of the high Kings of Ireland. Its a popular place for locals to walk and feel connected to our ancient ancestors. My little Tara piece shows two intertined hawthorn trees from the hill. These are considered magical in Irish folklore. In the background you can see the land of Ireland fade into the distance.
 
 
Lettering is stamped onto the clay using my Dad's wooden printers type. This beautiful Irish font includes a fada or mark above a vowel. 
 
As each one is handmade there may be some small variations in colour and shape. Postage included in the price.
